All the time I am warming up my homemade warmer to keep my feet warm while on the couch or heading to bed. When my back or neck gets out of whack, I warm it up and slap it on. :)
The easiest method of making one of these is to get a tall tube sock and fill with 1 1/2 cups of uncooked, white rice or buckwheat. Tie a knot at the end of it and pop it in the microwave for no more than 2 minutes. Remember different microwaves heat at different temps. so experiment first with one minute and check to see if that's hot enough for you. Creep it up 15-30 seconds at a time to get desired heat amount for your muscles.
This is one thing I use daily here at my house and my husband hijacks it all the time, lol.
Enjoy!
